Ortus Recruitment are currently looking for someone who can start immediately in a primary school in Warlingham. The desired individual will have previous experience working with children or with those who have additional needs.

This school is a two form entry mainstream primary school. All the staff are very helpful and want to provide the children with the best experience possible lead by the SLT. Those with a performing arts or sports background are encouraged to apply as there are many extra-curricular activities provided with the opportunity to help out with them.

The role:

• Working 1:1 with a student in a KS2 class with SEN
• Helping the student with their studies during lesson time
• Supporting the student inside and outside the classroom
• Liaising with SENCO
• Tracking child’s progress and monitoring them closely]

In order to apply to this role, you will need a fully enhanced DBS on the update service, be able to provide two references, have knowledge of the curriculum and have previous experience with children in a work setting. If you don’t have previous experience but are a recent graduate with a relevant degree, you will also be considered.

Located in Warlingham, the school is close to a local station as well as various bus stops. It is also easily accessible for those who drive to work.
