This is a full-time, term-time role ideal for individuals with a passion for supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and a genuine interest in inclusive education.

This rewarding position involves working closely with children in the school’s dedicated SEND provision, delivering one-to-one support and structured interventions that cater to individual learning needs. You’ll be an essential part of a close-knit team, helping to promote independence, emotional regulation, and academic achievement for pupils with ASD.

• Role: ASD Teaching Assistant

• Start Date: ASAP
• Salary: £89 – £105 per day PAYE (depending on experience)
• Hours: 8:30am – 16:00pm | Monday to Friday

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Offering tailored support to pupils with ASD, helping them engage with both classroom and resource-base activities.
• Assisting in planning and delivering individualised learning plans and interventions.
• Supporting the class teacher in creating a calm and inclusive learning environment.
• Building strong relationships with pupils to support emotional and social development.
• Collaborating with parents, SENCOs, and external professionals to meet each child’s specific needs.
