Role Overview:

• Position: Teaching Assistant (Primary)
• Location: Croydon
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm
• Salary: £89 – £100 per day (PAYE, depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom learning by working with individuals and small groups of pupils.
• Provide targeted one-to-one support to children who may need additional help.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a well-managed classroom.
• Encourage positive behaviour and help create a nurturing, inclusive atmosphere.
• Support pupils’ social and emotional development as well as their academic progress.

• A caring, proactive, and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with children.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• A flexible and patient approach, especially when supporting pupils with additional needs.
• Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is desirable, but not essential.
• A genuine interest in pursuing a career in education or child development.
