The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the class teacher and helping pupils to access the curriculum. You’ll work one-to-one with children who need extra support, assist with group activities, and contribute to the smooth running of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support learning across the curriculum, including literacy and numeracy
• Assist with the preparation of learning materials
• Provide tailored support to pupils with additional needs
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• Support behaviour management and promote a positive learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children in an educational setting (ideally primary age)
• A patient, caring, and positive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A good standard of literacy and numeracy (minimum GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths)
• A relevant qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is desirable but not essential
