Teaching Assistant (Primary School)

Salary: £89 – £100 per day (dependent on experience)

A supportive and inclusive primary school in Croydon is seeking a passionate and reliable Teaching Assistant to join its dedicated team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and is committed to helping them thrive both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the classroom teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Work with individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning
- Assist with preparing teaching materials and maintaining a positive learning space
- Provide additional support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
- Encourage positive behaviour and help promote pupils’ social development
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school setting
- A calm, positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is desirable
