We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive team at a well-respected primary school located in the heart of Sheffield.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support the learning, development, and emotional well-being of children aged 4–11. Your role will involve both one-to-one and small group work, as well as general classroom support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning.
• Assisting pupils with a range of abilities, including those with additional needs.
• Helping to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
• Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupil independence.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (preferred but not essential).
• A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate) is desirable.
