Ortus recruitment are excited to present a new opportunity, with our partner Primary School in Shirley Oaks, to work as a SEN Teaching Assistant.

The Primary School has a strong leadership team, great facilities and an Ofsted ‘Good’ for their last report.

An ideal candidate should be someone who has previous experience working with SEN pupils, also an individual who is familiar with working in a Primary School setting.

The individual should come across warm and welcoming, also they must be able to communicate with teachers and children clearly and effectively.

In the role you will be working with a teacher, helping them with the planning of lessons and working with pupils to support their learning and development.

You will be working in groups of children, also on a 1 to 1 basis with SEN pupils who may need additional help with work.

• Excellent rates of pay £70 – £90 Per day (PAYE – No hidden deductions – No umbrella company fees)

Requirements

• 2 Most recent employment references
• An enhanced child workforce DBS on update service or be willing to process a new one
