About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils’ learning across EYFS, KS1, or KS2. You’ll work closely with class teachers to deliver high-quality education and provide 1:1 or small group support, helping all children to reach their full potential — academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Support learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff
• Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and displays
• Provide 1:1 or small group interventions as needed
• Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor and record pupil progress and behaviour
• Support children with additional needs, including SEND

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children, ideally in a school setting
• A caring, patient, and proactive attitude
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English and Maths required)
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
