Ortus recruitment are excited to present a new opportunity in one of our partner Primary Schools in South Norwood for a Teaching Assistant position.

The Primary school has great facilities a strong leadership team and an Ofsted ‘Good’ for their last report.

The ideal candidate should be someone with a strong academic background and some previous experience working with children.

They should come across warm, welcoming and be able to communicate clearly with teachers and children.

The role consists of working with a teacher, helping to plan lessons whilst getting involved in class activities and supporting children’s learning and development.

You will be working in groups and on a 1 to 1 basis with children who may need the additional help with their work.
