LTF Recruitment are delighted to be working with one of our partner schools based in Wallington. The school is a wonderful and inclusive mainstream primary school with a high volume of pupils with special educational needs. The school benefits from a dedicated SEND department and are eager for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to start ASAP, providing 1:1 support to pupils with SEN.

The school are looking to appoint someone who:

• Is a competent teaching assistant with at least one years’ experience

• Has an understanding of supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis

• Can be an excellent team player with fantastic communication skills

• Is capable of leading small group interventions and supporting children 1:1

• Will be reliable and a friendly face to the children and staff

• Is dedicated to working with children and raising attainment

The main duties of this role are:

• Working within KS1 supporting SEND in the mornings

• Providing 1:1 support to pupils with EAL, ASD, SEMH and MLD

• Leading small group interventions with children working below age expected levels

• Liaising with the class teachers around progress of the children
