Job Title: Primary School Teaching Assistant

Salary: £89 – £100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Croydon is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to helping pupils thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, including those with special educational needs (SEN)
• Support classroom management and promote positive behaviour
• Help prepare learning materials and classroom resources
• Supervise pupils during break times and school activities
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• Experience working with children in a school or similar setting (essential)
• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, proactive attitude with a passion for education
• Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
