Ortus recruitment are looking for an individual to work in a primary school in New Addington as a SEN Teaching Assistant.

The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background and some previous experience working with children.

The role will consist of working alongside a teacher, helping plan and organise lessons as well as supporting children’s learning and development.

You will be working in groups and 1 to 1 with children who have SEN and may need additional support with their work.

• Previous experience working with children and in a primary school setting.
• Someone who is warm and welcoming
• A confident individual who can communicate effectively and clearly with teachers and children
• An individual who is reliable and patient
• Great work ethic

• Enhanced child workforce DBS on update service or be willing to process a new one.
