Salary: £89 – £100 per day (depending on experience)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming and inclusive primary school community in Croydon. We are looking for someone who is committed, proactive, and ready to make a real difference in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and group support to pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2
• Assist the class teacher in preparing learning materials and resources
• Support pupils with additional needs to access the curriculum
• Encourage positive behaviour and help to maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where all children feel valued

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children, ideally in a school setting
• A patient, caring, and flexible approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A good standard of literacy and numeracy (GCSE English and Maths or equivalent)
• A genuine interest in education and child development

Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certificate) are desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from graduates or those considering a future in teaching.
