Ortus Recruitment is working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive mainstream primary school in West Norwood, Lambeth, seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to join their SEN Support Team on a full time and long-term basis(Monday to Friday from 08:30am – 16:00pm). This role is set to begin in September 2025, however, the school is trialling candidates immediately to find the right individual to support their pupils’ unique learning journeys. We Are Looking for Someone Who:

• Has experience supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, and/or SEMH (desired, but not essential)
• Remains calm, patient, and consistent when responding to challenging behaviour
• Can confidently assist in delivering tailored interventions alongside the class teacher
• Builds strong, trusting relationships with children and their families
• Works well in a team and contributes positively to a collaborative school culture
• Holds GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above) in English and Maths
• Communicates clearly and professionally with parents and staff

• Pay: £89 – £105 per day PAYE based on qualifications and experience (No Umbrella Pay/No Hidden Deductions)
