Learning Support Assistant (1:1 SEN) – Primary School – Wembley – September Start

Location: Wembley, London
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time | Term-Time Only | Long-Term Role

Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Wembley seeking a committed Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a child with SEN from September 2025.

The Role:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support for a primary-aged pupil with special educational needs
• Assist with classroom activities, emotional regulation, and social development
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement learning strategies and EHCP goals
• Monitor and record progress and maintain a positive learning environment

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with SEN (e.g., autism, ADHD, speech and language needs)
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to behaviour and learning support
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
