Autism | One-to-one | Teaching Assistant

Ortus Recruitment are seeking an SEN experienced Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with Autism on a one-to-one basis. Located in the London Borough of Wandsworth, this vibrant and welcoming 2 form mainstream primary school, Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ features well-equipped facilities and an experienced and supportive team of mainstream educators and SEN specialists to work alongside you and support you.

This is a full time position with an immediate start, with the potential to secure a permanent role!

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with SEN pupils
• Have a patient and confident nature
• Be passionate about SEN and ASC

*Recent graduates of a relevant subject (i.e. Psychology) welcome to apply!*

Role Specification:

• Working one-to-one with an ASC pupil
• Full-time, Mon-Fri
• £75- £90 rate per day

Role Requirements:

• Level 3 Teaching qualification, i.e, CACHE level 3 / equivalent
• Provide 2 references
• Provide proof of right to work in the UK
• Have an enhanced DBS on the update server OR be willing to apply for one
• Have 3-6 Months of classroom experience (desirable)
