Ortus recruitment are currently seeking an individual to work in an Ofsted ‘Good’ Primary School in New Addington as a SEN Teaching Assistant.

**Potential to do teacher training in partnership with the school

We are looking for an individual who has a strong academic background and some previous experience working with children and SEN pupils.

The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate looking to kickstart their career working in a primary school setting or someone who already have some experience working with children and SEN.

They must come across warm and welcoming and be able to communicate effectively and clearly towards teachers and children.

The role will consist of working alongside a teacher helping them plan and organise lessons as well as managing classroom behaviour.

You will be working in groups and on a 1:1 basis with SEN pupils who may need additional help with their work.
