A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Battersea is seeking a committed SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. You’ll be working closely with a Year 3 pupil who requires additional behavioural and emotional support throughout the school day.

About the Role:

• 1:1 support for a child with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour
• Build strong, supportive relationships to encourage progress and participation
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement tailored strategies
• Full-time position (Monday–Friday), starting immediately on a long-term basis

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience supporting children with SEMH, challenging behaviour, or SEN is essential
• Background in youth work, mentoring, social care, or similar support roles is welcomed
• Training in Team Teach, PRICE, or MAPA is a plus (not required)
• Psychology, Education, or related graduates are encouraged to apply
• Confident, calm, and committed to building positive relationships with children
