Salary: £89 – £100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Croydon is seeking a dedicated and patient Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our supportive team.
About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils with additional learning needs—either one-to-one or in small groups. Your role will be key in helping pupils build confidence, develop skills, and make progress both academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
- Assist in the delivery of lessons and classroom activities
- Work one-to-one or in small groups to reinforce learning
- Help monitor progress and record observations
- Promote inclusion and encourage positive behaviour
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to meet individual learning plans (EHCPs where applicable)
About You:
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children, particularly those with SEN (e.g., autism, ADHD, speech & language needs)
- Is calm, compassionate, and patient
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Holds a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Learning Support qualification (or is working toward one)
- Is committed to helping children reach their full potential
