About the Role

Ortus Recruitment is currently supporting an Ofsted rated “Good” Primary School based in Cheam. We are seeking to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistants. You will be required to work supporting two pupils with ASC on a 1:1 basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for professional development within a welcoming school.

Both pupils have EHCPs for Autism and require additional academic support in class, the successful candidate will support one pupil in year 2 in the morning and the other pupil in year 3 in the afternoon.

The successful candidate should:

• Have experience supporting SEN, with confidence in KS1 and KS2
• Be comfortable delivering 1:1 session in Phonics, Literacy and Numeracy
• Be able to observe progress and write evaluation reports
• Have a proactive, innovative and professional personality
• Have Knowledge of PECs & Makaton

This is a full-time role to start in September 2020.
