Position Overview

Ortus Recruitment are looking for a Teaching Assistant in the area of Bromley to work with children who have Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). You’ll need to adapt your approach and ensure you’re able to support children with learning challenges. This position is a full-time, long-term role with plenty of potential to become permanent.

In this role you’ll be supporting children with a wide range of conditions including Down’s syndrome, Autism (ASC/ASD) and many more. This means you’ll need to be a very calm and patient individual who is willing to work with children both 1:1 and in a classroom-based environment with several other children. Group activities are very important in these types of schools as they allow the children to socialise with each other and create bonds with others. The successful candidate is somebody who really enjoys a challenge and wants to make a difference to these children’s lives.

• Salary: £90-£105 per day, paid weekly
• Monday-Friday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
