We are recruiting a friendly and enthusiastic Classroom Assistant to support a welcoming and high-achieving primary school based in Clapham. This full-time role, starting in September 2025, is ideal for someone who is passionate about primary education and enjoys helping young children reach their full potential. You’ll be a valued member of the teaching team, working across the classroom to ensure every pupil receives the attention, care, and encouragement they need to succeed. From helping prepare classroom resources to supporting group work and behaviour management, your day-to-day role will be dynamic and impactful.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery, classroom preparation and general teaching tasks
• Supporting learning through group activities and 1:1 interventions
• Building positive relationships with pupils to enhance engagement
• Encouraging participation, focus and positive behaviour
• Contributing to a safe and stimulating learning environment

Candidate Profile

• Enthusiastic, reliable, and team-oriented
• Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is helpful but not essential
• Keen to support children’s learning and development
• A flexible and proactive approach to daily tasks
