Key Responsibilities:

• Support class teachers in delivering high-quality, engaging lessons
• Work one-to-one or in small groups with pupils, including those with SEND or EAL
• Encourage and motivate pupils to achieve their best academically and socially
• Assist with classroom organisation, activities, and displays
• Supervise students during playtimes, lunchtimes, and educational visits
• Help track pupil progress and report any concerns to the class teacher or SENCO

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working in a primary school or with children (paid or voluntary)
• A positive, nurturing, and enthusiastic attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
• A valid Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
• The right to work in the UK
