Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-class support to pupils across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
• Assist the class teacher with the preparation of materials and delivery of lessons
• Support individual pupils, including those with additional needs, to access the curriculum
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupils’ social and emotional development
• Work collaboratively with staff to ensure every child reaches their full potential

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children, ideally in a school setting
• A caring, patient and proactive approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A good standard of literacy and numeracy (GCSE English and Maths or equivalent)
• A willingness to learn and contribute to a team-focused environment

Desirable:

• A recognised TA qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant)
• Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
