Behaviour Mentor / KS1 Support – Perivale, Ealing

Location: Perivale, Ealing, West London
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (Monday to Friday, term time only)
Contract: Long-term with potential permanent placement
Salary: £90 – £105 per day (depending on experience)

The Role

We are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work in a busy KS1 class in Perivale, Ealing. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone passionate about helping children manage their behaviour, build confidence, and succeed in learning.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with challenging behaviour, Autism (ASC), ADHD, or SEMH needs
  • Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to implement tailored behaviour strategies
  • Model positive behaviour, resilience, and confidence to pupils
  • Encourage pupils to engage in learning and develop social and emotional skills
  • Help maintain a calm, structured, and supportive classroom environment

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor, Learning Mentor, Teaching Assistant, or Youth Worker
  • Experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour, ASC, ADHD, or SEMH
  • Calm, confident, and resilient approach to behaviour management
  • Ability to build positive relationships and act as a strong role model for children
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Two professional references and right to work in the UK
