A well-regarded mainstream primary school in Brixton is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Classroom Assistant to support pupils with Autism. The school has a strong SEN provision and prides itself on offering a nurturing, inclusive environment for all learners. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Autism across Key Stage 1
• Assist in implementing tailored strategies including visual aids, sensory tools, and behaviour support plans
• Foster pupil independence, engagement, and emotional regulation within the classroom environment

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience supporting children with Autism or within a SEN setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Must be available to give one week’s notice prior to starting
