Role Overview – English Graduate Teaching Assistant

• Position: English Graduate – Primary Teaching Assistant
• Location: Fulham, South West London
• Start Date: Immediate Start
• Contract Type: Long-term, full-time (term time only)
• Daily Rate: £89 – £105 per day (PAYE – no umbrella company fees)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored Literacy and English support to pupils across KS1 and KS2
• Work 1:1 and in small groups to raise attainment in reading and writing
• Support pupils with additional needs, including those with EHCPs
• Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to track progress and adapt interventions
• Encourage pupil engagement and promote a love of English

Who We’re Looking For:

• A degree-holder in English Literature, Language, or related subject
• Someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about supporting children’s learning
• Prior experience working with children or in educational settings is highly desirable
• Ideal for aspiring teachers looking to gain valuable school-based experience
