Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Southall
Pay Rate: £90–£100 per day
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Southall. The role involves working closely with pupils who have special educational needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, and speech and language difficulties, providing both 1:1 and small group support.
Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with SEN in and out of the classroom.
- Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering tailored activities.
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
- Help create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment.
- Provide feedback on pupil progress to teachers and SENCO.
Requirements:
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN (school or childcare setting).
- A patient, calm, and understanding approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
