Ortus Recruitment are currently seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and welcoming team at a primary school in Wandsworth. This role is ideal for someone who has experience working with children with SEN.

About the Role:

• Support students with a range of learning difficulties, including Autism, ADHD, and emotional/behavioural challenges.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support in class, helping students to engage with the curriculum.
• Assist with behaviour management and support the class teacher in maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Work closely with other members of the teaching team to implement individualised learning plans (ILPs) for students.

Key Requirements:

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably with SEN students.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with children effectively.
• Passion for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willing to apply for one)
• Available Full Time (Monday – Friday, 08:30am – 4pm)
