Ortus Recruitment are currently working with a school located in the London Borough of Wandsworth, catering for children from early years to Year 6. It is a multicultural school that focuses on developing the core skills of its pupils and is well known for having a welcoming, approachable and supportive staff team.

This vibrant Primary School is seeking an experienced LSA to support a Year 3 student with SEMH on a full-time basis for the remainder of the academic year.

They require Support Staff who are outgoing individuals, able to build rapport with pupils, and who are familiar with or have experience in the following:

• Supporting challenging behaviour from pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
• Restraint training (Team Teach, PRICE, MAPA) is desirable but not essential
• Backgrounds in Youth Work, Behavioural Support in Education, Social Work, Sports Organisations, or recent graduates in Psychology, Education, English, Maths or Science

This role is offered at a pay rate of £89 – £105 per day (PAYE).
