The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver a creative and engaging mixed timetable, including:

• English
• Life Skills
• PHSE
• Personal Development

You will plan and deliver lessons tailored to pupils’ EHCPs, supporting both academic progress and essential life skills. The role offers the chance to teach in smaller class sizes, allowing you to build strong relationships and make a meaningful impact on each pupil’s development.

You will also:

• Create inclusive, differentiated lesson plans
• Track progress and complete appropriate assessment and marking
• Work closely with support staff, therapists, and families
• Participate in reviews, meetings, and parents’ evenings
• Contribute positively to the wider school community

Who We’re Looking For

• A qualified teacher with PGCE and QTS (ECTs welcome)
• Experience or strong interest in SEN and specialist education
• Knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and SEN differentiation
• A reflective, creative practitioner open to new approaches
• Commitment to supporting pupils’ emotional, social, and academic growth
