This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in a vibrant classroom setting. This full-time, long-term position offers the chance to work closely with experienced teaching staff, supporting pupils both in class and through targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions, including children with additional learning needs.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the classroom and the success of pupils throughout the school day. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing the classroom and learning resources each morning
• Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Working 1:1 or in small groups to support pupils with a range of additional needs
• Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement, and confidence in learning
• Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to the teacher
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is:

• Confident supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
• Experienced in working with children with additional needs, such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and occasional challenging behaviour
• Creative, proactive, and able to deliver engaging and interactive activities
• Passionate about making a genuine difference in children’s academic and social development
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and keen to grow within a supportive school
