Ortus Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a welcoming primary school based in Wandsworth, recently rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, who are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to provide 1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil. This role is required to start as soon as possible and will run on a long-term basis through to the end of the academic year. For the right candidate, there is strong potential for the role to continue into the next school year and progress into a permanent position on based on your performance. The school offers a nurturing and inclusive environment, with a highly supportive senior leadership team and a committed, friendly staff body who work collaboratively to ensure pupils feel safe, supported, and engaged.

The Role:

• Providing 1:1 support to a Year 3 pupil with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
• Supporting the pupil with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and engagement in learning
• Working closely with class teachers and SEN staff to implement consistent strategies
• Full-time, long-term position with the potential to go permanent

Pay:

• £93 – £105 per day PAYE (No umbrella payments/no hidden fees)
