Year 4 Teaching Assistant

Ortus Recruitment are working with an ‘Outstanding’ mainstream primary school located in Iver Village (SL0) Buckinghamshire.

The school are looking to employ a Teaching Assistant to support within a Year 4 classroom in a general capacity, as well as to support children in small groups. You will also carry out group interventions in English and Maths.

You will be assisting the teacher in the delivery of lessons as well as leading group interventions and engaging in lunchtime activities. There are after school clubs to get involved in as well. You will be paid overtime for any additional hours.

The ideal Candidate:

• Proactive and reliable
• Passionate about working with children
• At least 3-6 months of classroom experience (desirable)
• SEN experience (desirable)
• Level 3 teaching qualification or degree educated

• Have an enhanced DBS on the update service/ willing to apply for a new one
• Right to work in the UK
