We are seeking a confident, resilient, and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support KS3/KS4 pupil with special educational needs and behavioural needs. Role Details

• Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
• Location: Brixton
• Start Date: After Half Term
• Pay: £93 – £107 per day (PAYE)
• Hours: 08:30am – 4:00pm
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Contract: Full-time, long-term

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consistent and dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day
• Support emotional regulation, engagement, and positive behaviour
• Implement tailored behaviour strategies in line with school policies
• Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher and SENCO
• Act as a positive role model, maintaining clear boundaries and structure
• Encourage routine, independence, and social development

Essential Requirements

• Previous SEN experience (SEMH experience highly desirable)
• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
• Calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service
• Full-time availability from after half term
