A forward-thinking and creative Primary School in the Borough of Wandsworth are looking to recruit an inspirational SEN Teaching Assistants for a September start. This is a long-term, fulltime SEN Teaching Assistants role, and the school are keen to have someone who can commit for the entire academic year.

The Head Teacher is eager to find passionate graduates or experienced education professionals, who are keen to gain/build first-hand SEN experience with mainstream Primary children. This would be ideal for graduates with previous SEN experience, either in a working or personal environment or with an advanced understanding of SEN.

You will be provided with on the job training from day one and will be supported by a dedicated and experienced SENCo.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• SEN Teaching Assistant.
• Supporting a variety of SEN; Autism (ASC/ASD), SPLD, Dyslexia, ADHD, Behaviour Difficulties, Down’s Syndrome and Physical Disabilities.
• 1:1 and group support – In and out of the classroom.
• September start – Long-term & full time.
• Up to £90 per day – PAYE (No Umbrella Company Deductions!).
• Located in the Borough of Wandsworth.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Degree educated.
• Strong academics required – Confidence across the national curriculum.
• Proactive, reliable and flexible.
• Strong understanding and/or experience supporting SEN is required
• Experience around children.
