Behaviour Mentor – Hammersmith

We are working with a welcoming and inclusive school in Hammersmith that is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students who require additional behavioural and emotional support to access learning successfully.

The Role:

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group behavioural support to pupils
• Implement behaviour intervention strategies in line with the school’s policy
• Support students with SEMH needs, ADHD, ASD, and behavioural challenges
• Build positive, professional relationships with pupils to promote engagement
• Work closely with class teachers, SENCO and pastoral teams
• Monitor and record student progress and behaviour targets

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Calm, resilient and patient approach
• Confident in de-escalation strategies
• Passionate about supporting vulnerable pupils
• Relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential)

This role would suit candidates with backgrounds in youth work, mentoring, sports coaching, psychology graduates, or experienced Teaching Assistants looking to specialise in behaviour support.
