A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Whitley Wood, Reading is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 classroom support for a pupil with SEN
- Support learning, engagement, and emotional regulation
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to support EHCP targets
- Encourage positive behaviour and social development
- Monitor progress and contribute to a supportive learning environment
This Role Is Ideal For:
- Teaching Assistants or Learning Support Assistants
- Graduates interested in teaching or educational psychology
- Individuals with experience in SEN, care, youth work, or support roles
- Candidates passionate about supporting children with autism, ADHD, or speech and language needs
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN
- A patient, supportive, and calm approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
