The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the classroom teacher while helping pupils reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the delivery of engaging lessons within a Key Stage 2 classroom
• Working with small groups of pupils to reinforce learning
• Delivering targeted interventions in English and Maths
• Encouraging pupil participation and confidence in class
• Assisting with lunchtime supervision and enrichment activities
• Taking part in after-school clubs (overtime paid)

This role is ideal for someone looking to gain valuable classroom experience within a supportive school community.

The Ideal Candidate

• Enthusiastic, proactive, and reliable
• Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
• 3–6 months classroom experience (desirable)
• SEN experience is advantageous
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or a degree preferred
• Confident working with small groups and supporting interventions

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Right to work in the UK
• Two professional references
