Daily Rate: £93 – £105 per day | Weekly PAYE Pay | Immediate Start

Ortus Recruitment is currently partnering with a welcoming and forward-thinking mainstream primary school seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 2 team. The school prides itself on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where both pupils and staff can succeed.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the classroom teacher while helping pupils reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the delivery of engaging lessons within a Key Stage 2 classroom
- Working with small groups of pupils to reinforce learning
- Delivering targeted interventions in English and Maths
- Encouraging pupil participation and confidence in class
- Assisting with lunchtime supervision and enrichment activities
- Taking part in after-school clubs (overtime paid)
This role is ideal for someone looking to gain valuable classroom experience within a supportive school community.

The Ideal Candidate
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and reliable
- Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
- 3–6 months classroom experience (desirable)
- SEN experience is advantageous
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or a degree preferred
- Confident working with small groups and supporting interventions
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Right to work in the UK
