SEN Teaching Assistant – Ealing

Location: Ealing, West London
Pay: £90 – £105 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, term time only
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming and supportive primary school in Ealing. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them succeed in a positive learning environment.

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties. The role may involve working on a 1:1 basis or supporting small groups of pupils within the classroom.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting pupils with SEN to access the curriculum
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
• Providing 1:1 support and small group interventions
• Implementing EHCP strategies and individual learning plans
• Encouraging positive behaviour and social development
• Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
• Experience in a school setting is desirable
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
