Ortus Recruitment are currently partnering with an Outstanding mainstream primary school in Iver Village, Buckinghamshire (SL0) to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support within a Key Stage 2 classroom.
In this varied role, you will work closely with the class teacher to support learning across the classroom, deliver small-group interventions, and help pupils build confidence in English and Maths.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide classroom support to the class teacher during lessons
- Deliver targeted small-group interventions in English and Maths
- Support pupils both academically and socially
- Assist with engaging lunchtime activities
- Participate in optional after-school clubs (overtime paid for additional hours)

The Ideal Candidate

- Reliable, proactive, and enthusiastic

- Experienced in a classroom setting (3–6 months desirable)
- Familiar with SEN support (desirable)
- Level 3 qualified or degree educated
Requirements
Applicants must:
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Provide two professional references
