Ortus Recruitment is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Performing Arts graduate to join a vibrant primary school in the London Borough of Lambeth as a Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time role starting immediately, offering a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience in a supportive and high-achieving environment.

The school prides itself on delivering a well-rounded education and is particularly passionate about supporting pupils with SEN and those who may display challenging behaviour. They are seeking someone who can bring energy, creativity, and a passion for working with children into the classroom.

Key qualities we’re looking for:

• A creative background, ideally in Performing Arts or a related field
• A proactive and positive attitude towards supporting children’s learning
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff
• Reliable attendance and good organisational skills
• A keen eye for detail and willingness to support individual learning needs
• Experience working with children in any capacity (schools, theatre groups, youth work, coaching, tutoring, etc.)
• A degree (Performing Arts or similar preferred, but all relevant backgrounds considered)
