A welcoming and supportive primary school in the London Borough of Wandsworth is seeking a motivated Psychology graduate to join their team as a Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time opportunity available for an immediate start, ideal for graduates looking to gain meaningful experience working with children in an educational setting.

This role is particularly suited to individuals considering careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, or SEN Teaching. You will gain valuable, hands-on experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH, while working closely with experienced staff and external professionals.

What the role involves:

• Providing in-class support to pupils who require additional assistance with their learning
• Working 1:1 and in small groups with children who have EHCPs
• Delivering targeted intervention sessions to support academic and emotional development
• Collaborating with teachers, SEN staff, and external specialists
• Assisting in monitoring and assessing pupil progress

What we’re looking for:

• A Psychology graduate or relevant degree holder
• A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and patient approach
• Any prior experience working with children (school-based or otherwise) is highly beneficial
