Ortus Recruitment is working closely with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Ealing Broadway to recruit multiple 1:1 Teaching Assistants for roles starting after the April half term. Opportunities are available across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, depending on your experience and strengths.

These positions involve supporting pupils who need additional guidance with behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement — making this a perfect opportunity for someone who is patient, proactive, and confident in managing challenges.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs
• Supporting learning, emotional development, and behaviour management
• Applying effective strategies to encourage positive engagement
• Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
• Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and wider school staff

What We’re Looking For

• Experience supporting children with Autism, SEMH, and challenging behaviour
• A calm, resilient, and consistent approach to behaviour management
• Previous experience within a primary school setting
• Availability to start after April half term
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
• Ability to provide two professional references
• Right to work in the UK
