The Role – Teaching Assistant

We are working with a welcoming and high-performing primary school in the London Borough of Lambeth that is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant for an immediate start on a long-term basis.

In this role, you will:

• Support pupils both one-to-one and in small groups to boost learning and confidence
• Help children stay engaged and make good progress across the curriculum
• Encourage positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and independence
• Work closely with the class teacher and wider staff team

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who is proactive, patient, and passionate about supporting children to succeed.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience working in a primary school
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive and adaptable attitude
• A genuine interest in supporting children’s learning and development
