A welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Brixton is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates who are passionate about supporting young people and considering a future career within education. The school is looking for proactive individuals who can build positive relationships with pupils and provide tailored support to children with additional needs. The successful candidate will work closely with students requiring extra support, including pupils with SEMH, SEND, and EAL needs, helping them to thrive both academically and socially. You may also be required to support pupils in EYFS with personal care duties, including toilet training and nappy changing when necessary.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• The right to work in the UK
• Previous experience working with children or young people in a school, youth work, tutoring, coaching or care setting
• A patient, adaptable and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Two professional references
• A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• Availability Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm
