Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of children who require additional support in their learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN
  • Assist children with their academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning plans
  • Encourage independence and confidence within the classroom environment
  • Support pupils with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children, ideally within a school or SEN setting
  • A caring, patient, and positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
