A mainstream Primary school in Wandsworth are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child with additional needs on a 1:1 basis. Experience working in an education setting & with SEN are prerequisites for this job.

• SEN Teaching Assistant
• Wandsworth
• £75-£90 per day (PAYE)
• Full-time contract

The Primary School are looking for:

• Degree Educated
• Experience working with SEN
• Confidence to work with challenging behaviour
• Experience in a school or similar setting
• Restraint training (E.G. PRICE, MAPA or Team Teach)
• Experience working with communication needs (Desirable)
• Makaton/PECS training desirable
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE’s in Maths and English – C or above)
• Articulate with strong communication skills
