Ortus Recruitment is seeking a recent graduate to join a welcoming and well-known Primary School based in the London Borough of Lambeth. Our partner Primary School is hoping to find a proactive, reliable, and enthusiastic individual looking to commit to a role for at least a year, to start with them immediately.

The successful candidate will be working as a general Learning Support Assistant as well as working 1:1 with pupils who have additional needs and taking small group to give targeted subject support. This school is two-form entry, with a recent “Good” grading from Ofsted and they have great transport links.

We are seeking a recent graduate with a 2:1 or above, and experience working with primary aged children, this role would be particularly well suited to a Learning Support Assistant aspiring to become a Class Teacher in the future.

The successful teaching assistant must be flexible with a strong work ethic, and a passion for educating children. Teaching Assistant will have the opportunity to work across the Primary age range: with Reception (EYFS), Key stage 1 (KS1) and Key stage 2 (KS2).

Requirements:

• Recent Graduate with a 2:1 or above.
• Experience working in a Primary School.
• Confident and capable across the primary curriculum.
• Proactive, reliable and flexible.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
