Main Responsibilities:

• Be patient, energetic and proactive
• Leading 1:1 and small group interventions i.e. phonics, numeracy and literacy
• Encourage participation from SEN pupils and support them where necessary
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children
• Aid in the overall social, emotional and academic development of the children
• Supervise children during playtime and naptime

Main Expectations:

• 3+ months experience supporting in an early years environment
• Minimum 2:2 degree in a relevant subject e.g. maths, English, psychology or education (desirable)
• Strong numeracy/literacy/phonics capabilities
• Must be able to provide: an enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one through Ortus Recruitment), proof of Right to Work in the UK and 2 references
